I am posting these photos of Brett in honor of him coming home today from Chicago. I am picking him up from LAX at around noon today. They were taken in Hollywood, with my 20D, and my favorite lens of the moment, a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4.

Here are a few pictures I took of my cousin's kid Thor. I took them in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were taken with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 Lens.

These are a few photos I took on my first tour with the band Darci Cash. It is from this tour that I decided to take my photography from a hobby to profession. These were taken January of 2005, and were shot with a Canon Rebel 2000, and either a Canon EF 20-35mm f/2.8L Lens, or a Canon EF 50mm F/1.4.

This is one of my favorite shots off of the first roll of film I ever developed myself, and also one of the shots that inspired me to stick with photography.

Cleo is my old boss' dog. While house sitting I decided to snap a few shots of her. She is a really great dog. I miss her.

These are some random pictures I have taken while on the road over the years.

These were taken at the Santa Monica Pier a few months ago. I had some time to waste before picking up a friend at LAX and decided to go and take some photos of the pier. I ended up getting a little carried away and was late to pick up my friend. I think it was worth it though.

I took this photo in Dallas while I was out on tour with The Hanks a few years ago. There were just thousands of these birds on the power lines. They were everywhere. I saw them and had to run and get my camera and capture it. The odd thing is that pretty much right after I took the shot they all flew away. I haven't been back in a time when they were there like this.

Industry and lights...

One day a few months ago I felt that I really needed to take some photos, I just really had the itch you know. Anyway I was talking to my friend Jeff about who I could call, and he was naming random people. Finally I just broke down and said "... Fuck it, I'm shooting you", these are the ensuing photos.

I borrowed some lights from a friend for a corporate job I booked. I got them a day early, so I decided I might as well make the best of my time and see if I can throw in another shoot while I had the lights.
